It's official!
I got readmitted to Missouri State University. I saw it last night on the website, but I got the actual email this morning. My FAFSA has been processed, so now I'm just waiting on the financial aid award letter. I'm a little nervous about that because the last time I withdrew, I got a letter saying I wasn't eligible for any more FA, but I don't understand that as all I received were loans. I guess we'll see in a few days.
Now I have to decide how many hours I'm taking and which classes. I really want to go back full-time, but I'm afraid that would be too much with work and all, so maybe just 6-9 hours to start. I have to take Phys Ed this semester, and I really ought to get Public Speaking out of the way, too, but I really want to take my Critical Approaches to Literature class. Decisions, decisions. . .
Other than that, things are pretty quiet. It's been a very, very long week, but I've found a few good Watchmen fics to tide me over. :-) Hoping to get a little of my own writing done tonight. I have to quit procrastinating on it. I want to complete it so badly.
I actually worked out on the regular eliptical machines a bit today. I've always been afraid to try it because of my size, but I gave it a whirl. I was only able to to about 5 minutes total, but I rather liked it. It made my thighs hurt so bad & feel like jelly, lol. I think tomorrow I'll do the treadmill for 20-30 mins & then try the eliptical. Maybe I'll be more warmed up then.
Oh, and man, I had the weirdest fuckin' dreams last night! Mom's mom, who passed away several years ago, was in one of them, and it had something to do with Christianity & me keeping my mouth shut (she was a very devout Baptist). Another had me working back at the chicken plant, yuck! **shudder** Talk about a nightmare! The best one, though, had JEH in it. I never got to talk to him in it, but they were getting ready to put his Freddy make-up on him. I remember he looked pretty fucking wicked in it. Wish I had more JEH dreams. . .
