I've got the greatest parents. :-)

My mom will be staying the night with me tonight because she has a doctor's appointment tomorrow, and my stepdad has given her orders to take me out for dinner. He told us not to go to somewhere like Ryans, Cici's Pizza, or McDonalds. Nope, he wants us to go somewhere nice for dinner, so my vote's for either Lonestar Steakhouse or Steak and Ale. I think I want the second one more. I remember their awesome prime rib and blue cheese wedge. Yum!!

Yeah, I know, not exactly the most healthy thing, but a little indulgence once in a while is okay. Otherwise, you get frustrated and bored, and this food is better than some junk fast food.

I did go for about a twenty minute walk this morning, and I worked out last night with Gilad for 20 minutes. I'm going to see about getting a set of steps and dumbells this weekend, to add a little more weight and variety to my workouts.

I feel pretty good today, and I can already tell a little bit of a jump in my energy level and in my singing capability. I've been singing a lot this morning, and it's better than it's been in a while. My tones are purer and I have more breathing capability.

I've decided I am going to audition for Little Theatre's production of Beauty & the Beast. I just want the chorus, although I'd kill for Belle & Mrs. Potts, but I know those are ruled out for my size and age (too young for Potts, I think). I don't know if I'll get it, but it will give me more exposure, and this is a better show to audition for than most because it's a large cast. Here's hoping! :0)

family, little theatre, health
