There's this game that I used to be, like, totally addicted to. It was a religious-themed game, where you choose either the side of good or evil. You create minions, who are either angels or demons, depending on what alliance you chose ( Read more... )

Details details details.

I get the vague idea of a bunch of games, none of which fit entirely - nor do I have anything to google.

So! Strategy? RPG? Tactics? Turn based? Real time? City sim? Dungeon sim? Underground? Above ground? Is this mission based? Or does the entire game take place on one map? Do you play as a person that you can see (3rd person - Sacrifice), do you have an avatar in game (that you don't play directly but command - WarCraft 3) or are you more of a guiding force (Black & White)?

If it's a city builder type, check out Heaven & Hell, I think it was called. Ollld game where you'd have to build a city or something for either the forces of good and evil, and there'd be conflict. But I never played it.

Sacrifice and Dungeon Keeper (1 and 2) kinda remind me of what you're trying do describe, but neither is it. One picks the gods he serves and through them the beasts he controls but has no gold or faith, while the other is stuck as the bad guy, but builds an army that grows in levels as they fight and train.

Black & White is all about the faith n' followers, but you don't create them.

Sorry if this doesn't help. But like I said, gief detailz.

It's a strategy web-game. It's actually a site on the Internet. Um. There's no mission-making or city-building, or anything about that. It's just about building up your money, your faith, and making uber-strong minions.

Really, the web-game factor tosses out any ideas I might have had.
