Recovering
well its been about a week since my surgery.....i figure people would like to hear an update....
i'm recovering quickly or so everyone is telling me... which is nice.....
my baby is staying with grandparents for the next couple weeks.... I miss him so much....but at least they're bringing him by every now and then...
they got me on a walker right now....after about a week or so on a walker tho i think i'll transfer to crutches for a while....and then perhaps after that a cane....and eventually i hope to be able to walk with out any assistance....
i go in next Tuesday to get my staples out yeah i have staples.... about 30 of them....and my scar is about 10 inches long.... lol i'll post a pic if you wanna see it ^^ i'm on pain meds....and i'm giving my self shots twice a day for a month, to avoid blood clotting....
it kinda sucks that i have this problem with my hips....but in a way the replacement surgery was the best thing for me i think....and come july i'll probably get the other one done...
looking at information about the surgery all illistrations and pictures were of older people......i'm like "great i'm having a surgery thats meant for old people that makes me feel better......" its so sad because it was that time of the month for me while i was in the hospital (which makes it even MORE fun.....) the nurses there didn't know how they could help me with changing pads and all that because they aren't used to caring for younger people......i felt like i was helping them more then they were helping me....there was one nurse i had that i liked tho.....unfortunately i had her the day i left....she went all up and out of her way to help me out....she was friendly and helpful...i hope i get her again =)
