Murphy Meet Your Test Subject

Aug 22, 2007 23:37

If Murphy happened to be a real guy, you know behind the law, the man would have to study my life. It cracks me up, and sometimes I just can't believe it. Like the time my car blew up in the middle of the city, then I took the subway to class, but the subway car broke down. So I get to class and we take our lunch break, but I step in gum. Which of course starts a giggling fit, and makes everyone I was with think I'm nuts. So I explain the whole, Murphy's Law exists in my universe thing, alrighty then. But no wait, on the way back to the school, I step in gum, again, with my other shoe. I couldn't talk for like ten minutes without hysterically laughing. I finally made it home that day, except the train kind of had an electrical failure, and the car that I drove home in (different from the one earlier) kind of overheated on the way home. I mean who does that happen to? Oh right. Everyday is not this way, but most are pretty damn close, and it keeps it interesting that's for sure.

Ah mister fake theorizer who knew the words you never said would contribute so heavily to my laugh.

life: film at eleven, physics: murphy's law
