Well, hi thar, this is my entry for the RS Games 2010, a wonderful fest that really makes me think that the RS Ship is the friendliest, loyalest ship there is! :) I was a participant of Team Canon, who I am proud to say won, though every entry was truly wonderful. Anyway, on with the fic, any comments much appreicated! Please enjoy.

Remus/Sirius just kills me because of their fate, but it's still my otp. I love this, I especially love the beginning. I can definitely see Sirius having that outlook on life and love because of the environment he grew up in and all the horrible ideas that were drilled into his head :(
Luckily he threw them all out the window :P lol

Thanks very much for the comment! Remus/Sirius will never get old, because of people like us still trying desperately to carve a little happiness for the before their terrible fates! :P I'm glad you liked the begining, and I'm even more glad Sirius took no notice of his family's austere morals!

So true, but it seems the happier they are, the sadder it is because we know what happens in the end :(
I was reading this epic, long AU where they rescue Harry at an early age and raise him and Sirius falls in love with Remus, who's loved him for ever, and knowing what actually happened made it so sad
The Marauders' story is so tragic :'(

Yup, all this love and nurture and hope is for nothing because we can never change what happens to our poor boys xD (or can we, with AU? :P) I hope you're not talking about Raising Harry by Sam/Copperbage BECAUSE if you are I may have to jump on you and lick your face like an over-enthusiastic dog!! :D That is my all-time fave fic, I even have the 9hour long audobook of it on my ipod! I'm a sucker for raising!harry fics, and fics with slow burning love, and fics with a cast on minor characters and well, it just has it all!! :)

You know, yours was one of the most realistic depictions of Sirius and his feelings toward love that I've read in a long time. I've long thought about Sirius and his background and how he came to be able to love so powerfully. In my universe it was his uncle who served as an example, but your use of Andromeda was inspired and much more true-to-canon.

This was really a wonderful piece and an outstanding look at Sirius' inner journey. This bit: There had once been a time when Sirius wouldn’t have taken these transformations seriously, realised the gravity of his friends actions, or really understood his Remus’ pain. Sirius shudders. There had even once been a time when he would have looked forward to the full moons. But now he understands his friend’s agony. Or as least as close as he ever can. was particularly lovely.
