So...it's almost dawn and I've been up for over 3 hours already. Not that I've really wanted to....a dark room trying to be quiet ain't a whole lot of fun. I have no choice, however, since I'm ill and my nose is so clogged that if I lie down I can't breathe. I don't dare use a nasal spray because I've apparently got some small cuts inside my nose.
I thought I might as well update here, while I'm up. Not that there's that much to say or that I'm that coherent, really.
Anyway, there's good news. Though I haven't said, I had some crappy thing happen about 3 weeks ago and they have finally all been resolved. First my laptop finally went completely dead - the powerplug wouldn't keep in and the battery is a joke. It was sent to be fixed and only came back yesterday. But it is back and my data is still on, so that's good.
Secondly, just as I was about to head to our lovely capital (was waiting on the train that turned out to be 45 minutes late), I got a call from my bank telling me that my card had been barred. Why? Because some idiot had somehow gotten hold of my card information and was using it. Thankfully the bank reacted quickly, so I didn't lose very much money, but still it sucked. It also gave me a horrible feeling inside, like they had rummaged through my belongings. On payday it was, too. Just my luck. But I've got a new one now, with a new code and everything. Thankfully.
Thirdly, my phone died. Not that there was anything wrong with the phone itself. The charger stopped working, which is not a good thing when you need your phone and it's low on battery. My dad ordered a new charger (time of no credit card, remember) which ended up at my brother's new place 50 miles away or something. But thankfully, when I got home from visiting some friends (lovely, lovely weekend btw), my brother had brought it and I now have a functioning phone again. I've even managed to attach the Hisoka phone strap I bought about a month ago.
Oh, yeah, that too. Same day my phone decided to push the daisies, I had work. I had only just arrived when the guy I was taking over from told me that oh, yeah, he had taken all the shifts for Easter (which pays more, too, it being a holiday) for himself. Why thank you, you cock-sucking selfish prick! While you have a teacher job too (his job where i work is the second job), I only have that job as my income. Jerkwad! Oh, well, he'll pay somehow.
Take care, everyone.
