Okay, so, Celiac disease.
We're learning.
For one! Soy sauce. Has wheat in it. SURPRISE!
Orbitz gum? Maltitol. A sugar substitute sweetener derived from malt derived from barley. No-go.
Boba tea? No gluten! OM NOM NOM.
My favorite food in the world, steamed red bean buns?
GLUTEN.

I've looked around for any recipe or any iota of success anyone's had in making a steamed bun with gluten-free ingredients but it seems impossible. One well known Chinese cook probably said it best: the asians have been making steamed buns for thousands of years. If there were a way to do it with rice flour they'd have found it by now.
