My drabble for rions, i exchange this with YagamiMinami *get bricked* I'm not happy with the result, but here it is :

Kamakari Kenta frowned a bit when he saw Date wearing a ring on his necklace to the practice today. The thing seemed familiar to him, but he couldn’t recall it when he saw it. He decided to ask him about the accessory because it stimulates his curiosity… and his jealousy.

“Hey, where did you get that thing, Kouji?” he asked as he leaned closer to the man who was sitting beside him.

“Ah… Kenta-kun… I… I got it a long time ago. I didn’t quite remember it, but I’m sure that it was a gift from someone special…” he blushed a bit at that.

“E? Hontou desu ka? Who is it? Tell me” he became more curious than before.

“Um… I don’t quite remember his name, but I first met him when I was in the elementary school. It rained that day, and I forgot to bring an umbrella, so I have to wait until it stopped raining before I could go home.”

“And then?” he asked impatiently.

“Well, a boy approached me and offered his umbrella. I think he was older than me. I didn’t want to accept it at first because he had only one umbrella, and I didn’t want to be a bother to him… In the end he just shrugged and left his umbrella there.” Date stopped for a moment before continuing his story.,

“I tried calling him, but he acted as if he didn’t hear me at all. I gave up at last and used his umbrella. A day after that, I waited for him at the same place to return his umbrella. He came, and I said thank you to him. He just nodded and then turned to leave. But then he stopped, took something from his pocket and put it on my palm and left in a hurry. It was the ring that I’m wearing right now, and I haven’t see him again since then.

KenKen was stunned at the explanation. He remembered that he had met someone younger than him, and he lent his mom’s umbrella to him. He was always weak for something like that, and the boy had a sad expression on his face, which he couldn’t resist. There was something about him that made him feel the need to protect him, even though he didn’t know him at all.

That time he believed that rings could bind two people together, so he decided to carve his name to his ring and gave it to the pure looking boy as a symbol. He believed that when he grow older, the person would come back to him, and at that time he’ll propose to him. He cleared his throat a bit before asking the important question.

“Ne, Kouji, can I see the ring?”

“Sure, why not?” He said as he took of the chain.

Kenken took the ring gratefully, and examined it for awhile. His face broke into a smile as he found his initial there. K.K. He then returned it to Kouji who gave him a weird look.

“Why are you smiling Kenta-kun?”

“That’s a secret. But let me tell you something. The boy has a feeling for you, and he still does until now.”
He smirked and ran off to the practice hall before Kouji could say anything.
