daily squee - day 5
today wasn't a great day, I spent all day trying to make a knitted horse only to discover that the woman who had converted the pattern had for some reason I don't know made it about a hundred times more complicated and to rub it in WRONG, but it was a vintage pattern and available from somewhere else in the original not complicated knitterese
but today's happy is probably one of the following
i've been watching TOS and discovering that Captain Kirk is absolutely useless with women, if he fancies them they're psychopathic aliens and if they fancy him they're either psychopathic androids or underage children (this also applies to boys) and if due to some alien interference he gets within arm's reach of a woman she's either crying, of they get introduced by spock who appears to be holding back the giggles like you wouldn't believe.
discussing the spn plot twists with keire_ke and having a truly wicked image and discussing this with her. We really shouldn't be allowed to talk for too long, we encourage each other too much, but the upside of this was being talked into making a Vampire Kain bear complete with leather trousers, white wool hair and sticky on felt claws
