Hoo boy!Summer is suppose to be a time of relaxin' and fun where those of us in school, be it elementary/junior high/high school/college or university . . . . take a break.
Apparently the universe does not allow this to occur because it would destroy the natural balance of everything . . . . . or I just bit off more than I can chew.
Honestly if I can't handle doing fourty hours a week now, how am I going to deal with working as full time as a, you know . . . . adult? LOL, I am an adult but I still feel like this twelve year kid who just found out that Sailor Moon was actually japanese first, XD
Geeeeeeeeze, I thought I would never say this but . . . . I WISH THE SUMMER WOULD END!

In other news. . . I got YnM on DVD from Wal-Mart forlike $40! While the boxed set is around $56-$64! HAHA, not the best deal in the world but it's cheaper than at the con cause I know who I'm be buying it from there, XD. Ottawa has such a small community of comics stores that those of us who are into it, know ALL of them, XD
I also bought a used copy of XXXholic from ebay, which cost me $.99! Well shipping and handling was more obviously, but still a good deal since reg. price over here is $17! O_O
It's more than a regular manga would cost, but I think Del Rey is worth it b/c they actually put an effort into keeping as close to the original as possible all the while explaining it to those who wouldn't know about these things!
I also bought Lies and Kisses and Empty Heart by Masara Minase from EBAY!!!! I just couldn't wait till Sept. when DQ says that they will once again publsih them!! They actually sold out of copies if you can belive it.
I'm sure everyone's heard about all the licensing that's been going around! I super excited to see DQ doing The Summit, and Loveholic and even more of Fumi Yohinaga-san works being done. I'm sad that it was BeBeautiful that got it tho, while their packaging is gorgeous, their translations are not, unfortunetly.
On top that, Tactics is going to be re-released from Tokypop who is taking it over from ADV, and I couldn't be happier! ADV is going such a horrible job with Tactics and it deserves sooo much better, I'm glad it's finally getting it!
I shall fangirl some more later, alas it is time for my 2-10 shift . . . *sighs*
