Lately, I've found myself getting annoyed...again...with my brother's girlfriend, and to some degree my brother. I know I'm not the only one, my mom has expressed her annoyance and frustration, too. It seems like she's always over the house. She and my brother lounge on the couch, and pretty much take up the majority of available space in the family room. She's over constantly and ends up eating with us. She had my mom in tears last night, an overflow of frustration of having to prepare food for an extra person all the time and snacks, since she's aIso constantly draining our cookie jars and candy dishes. We can't put out those mini chocolate bars because she picks through and eats all the 3 Musketeers, Milky Way, and Twix...leaving the Snickers, which isn't very popular in out house. Even if I buy a bag of the Milky Way for the dish, she'll eat them all. I feel frustrated especially on Sundays and Mondays. Those are my brother's days off...so he and his girlfriend are lounging all over the family room, tying up the TV. I would spend the early evenings on Gaia, but I don't stay on too long, but I can't even see my shows or watch any movies on cable or DVD because they are hogging the only other available TV. I feel like I have no where in to go, and I feel trapped. The last time this was a problem was a few months ago, it was when my brother was on midnights...he would be sleeping on the couch and his girlfriend would be watching the TV. Thursdays were fine...we both love Grey's Anatomy. But she wouldn't allow me to watch Desperate Housewives or Lost, and she barely tolerated House. What pisses me off is my brother has his own TV in his room...he's got cable line added to my parent's account, which he promised my parents he'd pay for his portion, but he never does! I don't even have a TV in my room, so I can't escape there to see my shows. Sometimes I sneak into my brother's room to see them...but most times the controller is MIA, so I can't change the stations. I also found that, after my dad ate all my Baked Ruffles (which I discovered when I found my chocolate chip cookie shaped bag clip clipped to the LaZBoy) I went out and bought a bag of Baked Lays...the next day, I find my brother and his girlfriend eating them. He told me that mom said it was OK. My mom informed me that she told him not to, that the chips were mine, but he ate them anyway. I feel like no one would notice if I never came home...or that it would be better if I had never existed.
