I really should post more often...I may as well do this now while on Marvin (i've named my laptop Marvin) here at school...so...
Anyways, last Thursday was the Alan Rickman Marathon that Taieta, Darylchan, and I have been planning for a few weeks. We decided on watching Sense and Sensibility, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, and lastly Galaxy Quest. I brought my Marvin plushie and it got lots of hugs, as well as Taieta's kitty, who took over the entire bed we were attempting to sit on. It was great fun and we must do another Rickman-fest...and show Love Actually, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, and...um...er...I'm sure we can find another to squeal over...maybe Something the Lord Made or Quigley Down Under. And Marvin plushie will definately come again, especially if we watch Hitchhikers.
This past weekend was rather depressing...just for depression's sake, I guess. Especially Sunday night, I had so much difficulty sleeping and I think I finally nodded off around 2:30am. I had finished reading From Baghdad, With Love around that time...adorable story of a Marine finding a way of getting a puppy out of Iraq...and started the new Anne McCaffery book, Maelstrom. I finished that Monday and was kinda out of reading fodder. I grabbed the nearest book...a volume of the Hitchhikers Trilogy of five books...and decided to reread it. I just love those books so much. And especially more now since my weekend depression lifted upon reading the first few chapters of the first book, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy...I am almost done with the first book in the volume already and about to start the next, The Restaurant at the End of the Universe.
Today I started crocheting a newsboy hat. I surprised myself and am almost done with it. After I get home and as I'm watching Lost, I'm probably gonna finish it. Then I'm gonna go back to the sweater I'm working on...it's gotten kinda boring at the moment, working on the sleeves.
