In way of explanation: April is the annual organ donation awareness month, so I wanted to make this friending meme in April, not only because friending memes are fun, but also because I wanted to bring awareness to a cause that has been important to me for years. In doing so, I wanted to pay homage and respect to someone who I sadly didn't get a chance to correspond with in this life, but whose immense bravery and strength continue to inspire me even now (the late Stephanie Steele, cfkitty).
