I haven't really touched my journal in a few days, so maybe I should. Well, I broke up with Phill today due to his recent change in personality and behavior towards his friends, and me. I feel that his friends were starting to dislike me, so I got pretty scared, and I hated the way he was acting also. I had to end it, and not let it progress any further into something worse. He could have lost his best friends, and that's just bad. I know how it is to lose best friends... Well, he doesn't seem that sad about it, so I don't have to worry about him doing anything stupid. We're still going to hang out Friday after school, so I am happy. ^^
Today I had a plastic spoon in Math that I got from lunch, and I whipped it out of my backpack, turned abruptly to Pat Harris, and yelled, "I'ma cut you!" Mr.B immediately scolded me for the threat. I yelled out in amazement, "But it's just a plastic spoon!"
Then in U.S. History we went to the computer lab, where the German exchange student (Helene) sat next to me. Well, Ryan Bell and I were talking about French, and then she started talking to us about how Germans use "Shh!" (The French say "Chut!" while Germans, according to Helene, say "Psst," "Tch," or "Shh"). I was intrigued with the conversation as we talked more about the differences in cultures around the world. I brought up the fact that a couple of years ago, my parents bought me a bag of this great German chocolate that I ate within one day (yeah, I'm a real pig). She asked Ryan and I about Hershey's chocolate, because she had tried it and explained to us "Hershey's chocolate tastes like cheese!" It was awesome. We said it was a mass media chocolate. We talked about Godiva, too. My mom and I are going to go out and get her a sample box. I look forward to future conversations with her.
I attended the Art Club today with Phill. Mind you, Phill and I didn't go to the first meeting, so most of the things they talked about we had no idea about. They talked about setting up for the Art Fair, and how to advertise that so people come and view our pieces. Then they got into the subject of a store in Laurel Park Mall called "Store of Dreams," where kids can go and do projects. I might go for the experience. Then we were discussing the Art Club hoodies. We need to get cool designs and good quotes/sayings, or something. In fact, I need to grab a quote. Well, this kid is making a site for it, so when they get the site up and running, I will put a link to it in here for you all to see.
I'm starting to draw again. I am definitely happy. I have other reasons to be happy also....
