holy week is geek tiems

SPENT most of the Holy Week weekend indulging in geekiness and getting very little sleep.

Maundy Thursday was spent watching horror flicks with most of Chunky Rambutan. We went with old school classics like Creepshow and mixed it up with more contemporary directors. I have to say, the Masters of Horror series is quite brilliant. I won't be able to scrub off the images from Takashi Miike's Imprint for a good long while. Pins, anyone?

The early hours of Good Friday was spent playing World of Warcraft online. Slept at 5am, woke up at 10am because my tummy insisted on breakfast. Spent more hours gaming. Watched a few more horror flicks. Koallowed at Casa Marci for a bit. Then phailed at a cupcake quest which landed us in Mcdo GB1 with caramel-oreo sundaes. Got home at cindrella-time but woke up early because of the morning summer heat.

Black Saturday saw me off to Libis and Marikina for more geeking out, this time Dungeons & Dragons with the Boys. The session began after lunch and lasted until 4am the next day. It's been seven months since i last played d&d but like an old skin i got absorbed just as quickly.

Today is Easter Sunday. I'd rather be hunting or hiding easter eggs from the kiddies but sadly, i have professional obligations to the ball and chain that is Ayala Museum. Yes folks, i'm at work, on Easter Sunday. Praise kami-sama for free internetz pirated from M Café next door.

P.S. There's a scary red clown roving the park and plaza area by the museum. It freaked me out when i saw it sitting outside the museum. I don't want to go out while that clown is prowling around.

wow, holidays, tomodachi, movies, d&d
