Moving Update, etc.
I got the okay from sailorv61 the other day to move in.
Last night she and I went down to Modesto to see figgit wrestle with the UWA at Fat Cat.
An interesting aside about the Fat Cat Music House & Lounge in Modesto. For those friends that are not from this area and don't know, the site where now sits the hottest night club in Modesto (so they claim)used to be a haven for the geekiest people in the valley! That's right, it was a gaming store called The Gauntlet.
Anyway, back on topic...
We went to Modesto to watch the wrestling match. It was fun. I enjoyed it. I was in the front row and a couple of times we were nearly squashed by wrestlers that brought the fight outside of the ring.
While I was there I got to see kitabare again. It's been a long time since we've hung out together.
I found out she had a live journal account so now, everyone, please wecome her to my friends list.
So, with the wrestling and the afters party at Ridgeways, I didn't get home until 0340 this morning.
I had made prior arrangements to borrow krayzj77's car this morning to move my belongings over to my new home.
Well, to do that I had to be awake at 0700 this morning so that she could pick me up on the way to work and give me her keys.
That didn't leave much time to sleep.
That said, once I got back from taking her to work, I was ready to go back to bed. So I did.
I only intended to sleep for an hour or two at the most and then get up and get started.
Four hours later I woke up and realized I didn't have much time to work before I had to go pick krayzj77 up from work!
So I got busy packing boxes and loading them into the car.
I made two trips before it was time to return the car. That leaves for tomorrow: one last load.
After that, I'll be out of here completely and into my new home.
I'm planning on calling my mother this evening and making arrangements to spend time with my daughter Sunday. I have Sunday and Monday off and I'd like to spend them with Emilie.
I'll let you know what happens.
