So, our global politics prof is leaving us for an indeterminate amount of time and the hunt for a replacement has begun. On the one hand, the fact that the replacement search has begun so late in the semester, is laughable. on the other, the fact that the replacement search has begun so late in the semester is sure to play havoc on the political science schedule.
In a related note, i had a dream the other night that Dr. Feske showed up as a prospective replacement. Needless to say my dream self was giddy with joy to be presented with such a situation. Conversely, my actually self was boarder-line suicidal to realize twas but a dream. Regardless of my waking thoughts, the fellow who showed up was pretty damn good. His lecture was insightful and the conversation over lunch was pretty stimulating. All in all, i give him a 3.5 (possibly/probably 4) out of 5.
