I have watched PD from the beginning. Love Eva Green and all the other cast. I'm looking forward to the double episode this Sunday, but am very sorry to see the show end. I've read a lot of articles on line, including interviews with Eva and Josh, and they're ready to stop, Eva especially. The producers and writers felt they simply couldn't drag out Vanessa's misery any longer. C'est la vie. However, MAYBE NOW Eva will be nominated for an Emmy. That happens sometimes once a show ends and she is ridiculously overdue.
So he's not the only one who just decided, "Nah, don't wanna anymore"? Fuck, that is very disappointing. Well, that must be a problem signing up movie actors to do television, I guess.
Whatever the reason, I'm done watching these kinds of shows as they air. I'll watch completed series, but I am NOT putting my energy into liking a show just to have it ripped out from under me. Abandoned WIP's are no fucking fun at all.
I agree. Waiting is the pits. Aren't there two more episodes back to back this Sunday? Ethan kills Vanessa, or so I've read, and that didn't happen in the latest episode.
Yeah, I just watched it again. Stupid me, I didn't realize it was the final episode until AFTER it had aired. D'oh! I assumed there would be more of a wrap-up of the other characters' story lines. I am NOT happy with how they ended things for the other characters. I understand now why everyone feels it was rushed and is unhappy. Boooo!
Edit: I think it's Game of Thrones that gets a double episode finale this Sunday.
Sorry for all the edits. I can't seem to type tonight.
