In honor of Sam's birthday:
Today's haiku post at
hobbit_smut is from Sam's POV. It's
here.
March was Back to Middle Earth Month. I'm not sure why I didn't post anything about it, but somehow I couldn't find anything to say that wasn't 1) said already by others, 2) too long and involved to get into, or 3) about feelings I didn't want to get into publicly. I know, kinda silly considering the posts I've made in the last couple of years. But there you are.
But one thing I had thought of, and that I shall now do in honor of Our Dear Gamgee:
On the Eve of Sunreturn This is the very first LOTR fic I ever wrote, in the wake of FOTR (the movie). It's Gen, and concerns Sam and his family. It holds a very special place in my heart, because in it you'll see the Sam that I had known for nearly 25 years, from long before I ever heard of slash fandom. Some of you already know this piece, and some of you probably haven't come across it before. Regardless, I hope you'll enjoy this visit to Bag End.
*hugs Sam fiercely* Thank you, dear hobbit, from the bottom of my heart.
*hugs f-list*
Happy Sam-day, everyone!
