Usually I will go ahead and give new people a benefit of the doubt card, but these new neighbors are already in the negative. I was walking Kayli down to see my dad really quick when I met the new 2nd floor neighbors. They were moving in today. Kayli, of course as a puppy, is excited. After the "awws" of the females in this new neighbor trio, I allow myself to walk over to allow them to pet her since I was going to give her a bath today anyway.
Female #1: "She is going to be huge!"
Me: "Not really. She is going to be about 20 pounds as an adult."
Female #1: "No. Just look at her paws."
I try to nicely as possible extricate Kayli and myself from Female #1's clutches. This is mainly because I am trying to contain a sarcastic snort inside my throat. Obviously Female #1 hasn't seen a canine bigger than a rat in all of her sad little life.
Male #1: "You know she is going to become a dog, right?"
Well, apparently the other one has never seen a dog period. As I try to walk down the rest of the stairs while trying not to say anything sarcastic (which came out as a strangled laugh), I saw that there was a slight mound of refuse at the bottom of the stairs. Not only are these people stupid, they're land fill makers. Where are these people coming from??
