after the whole rah-rah of chinese new year celebs and what-not, its now super super hard for me to get my lazy ass back down to studying! ):
i am So dead for all the upcoming tests!
yes, they Did postpone them by a week but that doesnt do Me any favours because my odd week schedules are sheer insanity.
and it just sucks that they Had to combine our cny break and sem break because that means half of the sem break is gone on all the cny visitation rounds and bla-bla.
sigh. Tomorrow i will really mug. i Will.
so anyway. its been a good cny though, despite the parents not being here with us.
i think we're really very blessed still because even though they arent around we still have the relatives and cousins other family members who spoil us heh.
friday- i ended up not going for sea in the end (sorry freedsy and debsy! haha)
left the house for city hall in the late afternoon in most uncomfortable attire haha. but service was awesome awesome fun! i love how the english praise songs are always so dance-able to!
(well yes attempting to turn circles on the risers was well, a challenge but still hilarious fun!)
and worship was amazingggg. love love love YOU. and the whole thing was one amazing experience (:
after service it was off to supper with the yummy mummy and graceyy and mushi.
yay to kfc eggtarts.
saturday: lunch at the third aunt's at lakeshore before it was down to chinatown.
we were hanging round waiting for dinner to start when i realised that right opposite the relative's stall was a wurst stall!
and so we went and bought wurst and kartoffeln and sauerkraut and i was a very very happy girl (:
yes apparently the adults Were serious about cny reunion dinner in chinatown!
at the second aunt's stall.
so well when we did the yu-sheng thing we were the object of much fascination and random passerbys and tourists decided we were interesting enough specimens to grace their many cameras. that pretty much did it for us kids so me and the cousin slipped off to the other cousin (the whale)'s stall on the pretense of bringing him and my brother their share of yu-sheng and we just hung out there and didnt go back to the other side for the rest of dinner!
and then after that the bro, ben and i ended up going to hv for burger king's. joke of the century.
it was getting lost in circles after that (never trust my brother for directions) as we attempted to get to where we were supposed to pick claudia up from.
played at ben&claudia's place till one or so before we got sent home.
sunday: cousin cat came to pick me up to visit their church for service (:
the brother refused to go in lieu of his beauty sleep.
but it feels super weird to Not go to church on a sunday so i was more than happy to go! haha.
and it was a good service :) happy happy happy
ate soup at a cute little shop in suntec after before it was down to the uncle's.
hung around for abit before it was down to glentrees for us kids to play wiiii.
big aunt's place for dinner after and then some of us hung around and played monopoly and uno till late again.
monday was a day to myself for me! haha
tuesday/yesterday: got awoken by the cousin and rushed to get myself out of bed and showered and changed for more visiting in the morning. rotted for the afternoon before heading out in the evening for the Universal Studios preview!
which was sehr fun although a tad small!
loved the egypt and newyork sections the besttttt!
