So the merry_fates is this community that post discussions and some fawesome short fiction, and sometimes watcher prompts. The latest one was a dictionary definition, so here's my story, which is sort of longer than I expected it to be. *shrug* Hey, it's just *under* 2,000 words. If only just barely.

The soda machines are actually something stolen from my high school, because it's always struck me as really wierd that you can, in fact, drive past the school in the middle of the night and see the Coke logo from the cafeteria. Waste of power, and probably really annoying if you live across the street.

lol. No joke! I guess they want to keep the drinks cool. Who needs to conserve energy in the face of keeping the soda icy cold?

And there's about ten different soda machines throughout a relatively small, one-story school. It's kind of ridiculous. Though there's no end of hilarity when kids, like, ask to go to the bathroom and come back with sodas for themselves and all their friends.

I noticed the PTHS inspiration. Gotta love the band room doors, and the Lions- modified to match what the costume undeniably is.

Yeah, I almost put the Panthers, but c'mon. It's a lion suit and there's no denying it anymore.
I don't actually think people escape out the band room door to smoke though. There's a camera there, I think. And, like, smoke detectors and shit. But undeniably a stoner magnet THE place to go for early-morning vodka drinking.

Yeah...I also like my variation, where you spray people with it and get them dragged down to the office. Ah, revenge. I wish I had opportunities to use all my elaborate schemes.

Oh, I don't have anyone I hate particularly enough to risk the many flaws of that plan. It'll end up in a story somewhere, probably.
