Puppy update
Thanks to those who commented on my last entry in such a short time period. It means a lot!
She's doing much better now compared to yesterday. However, her heart is pretty weak we're not really sure how long 'better' will last. She gets to spend the night at home but tomorrow goes back to the clinic so they can keep a watch on her and give her more diuretics.
But its also getting to the point of price. Which is so sad. Doggy medical expenses are VERY expensive. And since shes 14 anyways, its really great she's lasted this long. So, we'll basically see her chances of her best recovery and depending on a multitude of things, it may come down to the wire about making that tough decision.
Jackie came over today though, and that was nice. Mostly Alex is just sleepin' and trying to stay still. You can tell she doesn't feel great, but you can also tell she's tryin real hard to have energy. It's kinda comin' in spurts.
All day today I've been near tears at any random given moment. I cried a couple of times, and now a little.
I love this doggy so much. I'm gonna miss her so so much. But I'd rather her go in peace while sleepin than in pain.
But, shes not dead yet!! she may actually have a few more days/weeks left, but it doesnt make it less sad to think about.
