Regarding Jenny... My roomie, who I converted over to a NCIS watcher rather easily, made the best comment about her. He's coming into season 5 after playing catch up on all the seasons within the last month, so everything is fresh. He said, "They finally gave her balls." This is perhaps the first time I've really liked her in an episode. Go writers.

Tony's had so many near death experiences that they are all starting to blur for the poor boy. I think I would like to see that fic. Tony and McGee are getting some good bonding in with the last few eps.

PROMO... I went "GUH!" I don't see how Tony rescuing Gibbs would be a dream sequence for anyone. So I'm banking on it being the real deal. Abby's dreams are always short and not that detailed. Gibbs' few dream sequences (while in the coma) were more choppy and dealt with the past. The clip with Tony pleading Gibbs not to die on him took me right back to SWAK and Gibbs telling Tony not to die. It's Gibbs and Tony, they will go to hell and back for the other. I think they would even if they aren't happy with one another at the time. It's how they are. I'm actually anticipating the fic explosion if the ep is as good as the promo.

I've been all over the Tony/McGee bonding/BFF act lately. I was just telling someone the other day how well the show has handled their relationship with how it's gradually changed over the years. I always thought those two were cute when they were together and not at odds, and this season's really been reaffirming that.

And that promo was beautiful and, like you said, I don't actually think it's a dream sequence--there was just some weird lighting going on that made me freak out over it. And the fic explosion looms on the horizon--is it Tuesday yet?
