so, i actually -looked- at the website boasting the neon-sequined, marbled horrors from earlier, which i really shouldn't have done.
as garish colors go, orange and blue are usually my favorite together, but not this time...

i've seen bondgirls wear less trash, including the bellydancer in Dr. No! or was it Thunderball? like it matters, you all know what i mean.
pennywise the clown wore orange and silver too. if children start to go missing and the only evidence forensics finds is a handful of sequins, you'll know this dress did it.

you see, i'm torn here. it's an -interesting- costume and as an artist, i like it's somewhat dali-meets-miro-glitter-party feel. i actually paint in a very decorative style like this myself sometimes, but i sincerely doubt i would ever dance in it. perhaps if i had the model's belly....
it boggles sometimes me that i got my bridesmaids' dresses from this site. then again, that was back when the folkloric page wasn't made entirely of spandex.
