Whether you love her or hate her (or just feel kind of indifferent toward her), Janey Slater is and was a strong woman to begin with. (The lady obviously didn't net herself a job in a top-secret government research base on good looks alone). These five AUs detail Janey's character in different situations in a way that can only be described as "accurate" to what we do see of her graphic novel characterization... and gisho 's compelling takes will make you wish that she was a main character with her own backstory.
