So to celebrate my last day of spring break, I'm gonna post some meta about some stuff I watched over the course of... well, this whole year... and never get to talk about. Yaaay. XD It's also spreading the word a little bit about things I think people will like and my take on some of the arguments/conversations people have on them ( Read more... )

Okay, I gotta say that you calling Aziraphale "his angel" is awesome and amazing and love forever! XD And the ultra weird thing about your question is that my friend and I were JUST discussing this like... last week. And my theory on this is that... okay. God loves His creations. Demons are, regardless of how much they fucked up, still God's creation. He loves them. But when they rebelled, he had to punish them because they had to take responsibility for their actions. So he damned them. and (now we're getting into my own philosophies/beliefs) I believe that HELL itself isn't the actual punishment. I think what He did was make them forget how to love. Because there's nothing worse in the world than thinking you aren't loved and can't love yourself. but He still loved THEM. So they have the ability to love still, they've just forgotten how. So basically, God gave them a chance to redeem themselves, if they want to.

Now, in Crowley's case, I think Crowley genuinely wants very much to love and be loved and is potentially very very close to remembering. However, I think he'd rather not try because he wouldn't want to be proven wrong. He doesn't want to know for sure that he can't and isn't quite ready to know that he can never be redeemed. Even though I believe that he could, if he only tried. So yeah. It's all very sad but that's what we decided. D:
