Dusk till Dawn Harry Potter/Severus Snape Fuh-Q-Fest Wave 12 Recs
Wave 12 of the Dusk till Dawn HP/SS Fuh-Q-Fest has finally been posted! I've spent quite a while reading and here is a list of my favorites:
The Sensible Garden by RaeWhit (joanwilder) - Without a single doubt, this beautiful story is my absolute favorite of the fest. It may very well be my favorite Snarry fic of all time as well and that is really saying something considering the vast amount of wonderful Harry/Snape stories there are out there. This story though spoke to me in a way that no other fanfic ever has before and by the end I was just blown away. Many of us were lucky enough to read this story before Wave 12 was posted as the author has had it up on her live journal for about a month now. Rated NC-17
Danger in the Healing by Faynia and Stormypup - What I liked about this story was the slow progression of Harry and Snape's relationship, which made it seem much more natural. Also, I liked the unique way that the author approached the final battle, with Harry knowingly killing Voldemort when there was still a horcrux out there that hadn't been destroyed. My only complaint was going to be that the author had ended the story with too many questions still left unanswered but then I saw the footnote at the bottom which stated that a sequel would be written...yay!

Hero Worship by ravenna_c_tan - Oh, now this is nice! Submissive Snape by way of a Caretaker spell, a sexually frustrated Harry, some wonderful training scenes with much snark and insults and in the end, love. This is canon Snape at it's finest with a believable Harry and a great plot. Rated NC-17
