Not dead. Just sleeping.

I'm at a bit of an impasse after The Dark Fic and Coda.  I'm trying to work on the Carsten follow-up in Copenhagen, which I'd been working on (a Godric/Eric/Carsten threesome!) but now Eric and Godric have gotten into an argument about Godric's work as an inquisitor, and it needs some rewriting to make it less … alarming?  Or something.  I'm stuck, let's face it.

In the meantime I say my nightly prayers that the Godric flashbacks in the upcoming season 3 include some long-awaited slash content; you know the actors are up for it, but I'm not sure Alan Ball is.  A girl can dream.

On the subject of slash: there was an interesting comment thread on one of the archived Dan Savage/Savage Love columns about that very topic, although unfortunately I can't find the specific column.  The letter-writer was interested in watching two gay men have sex.  In the comments a number of straight women said they found the idea hot, and I'll kick that around further here.

Girl-on-girl action, as well as two-girl-one-guy threeways, has long been a staple of straight male porn.  Nobody goes, ew, lesbians - presumably the guys figure they can get in there eventually (because all girls must love cock, right?)  Two men, on the other hand, is apparently a whole different level of perverted and wrong.  Obviously I find that sexist.  For many open-minded women, what could be hotter than two men having sex?  The same concepts apply.  I don’t even have to pretend those guys would be interested in me (or women in general) to find it arousing.  Men are beautiful, and two men together are beautiful.

Oh, Godric/Eric slash muse: inspire me.
