Playing with my journal styles.
For a site devoted to journaling ... hm. Some of these styles are really hard to read. My chief objection to the style it's been for months is that the text is fully justified (right and left) and there doesn't seem to be a way to turn that off. I hates it. It makes the word and letter spacing uneven.
I liked the last one I tried for the past 24 hours, but the central text column was thin and the dark brown on light brown is a little hard to read, IMO. Again, no way that I could see to adjust it. Am I missing something?
This one is okay ... the legibility's decent, but this has the opposite problem of Attempt 2, I wish the central column were narrower. I wind up with some wide, dense paragraphs in my fics.
If you have any strong feelings about the formatting, please say so. Legibility and functionality are important. Maybe I'll change it to the snowman one, that'd be humorous.
