(no subject)
A couple new user pics... lots of really nice photos from the wedding. This weekend I think we're going to put some together for our album. We also got our video of the wedding as well as one from Papa Herb, which were humorous. And we have a ton of photos from the honeymoon. But I've been lazy about getting it all organized.
Work's been fine. My interns seem to be working out pretty well. However, I've been having weird wrist/hand/arm pains that concern me... I got a new keyboard tray and set-up at work that I hope helps. I saw the doc and got a wrist brace so I hope that works too. I hope it's just a matter of making things more ergonomic. By the end of the work day, things are twinging and aching and all sorts of strange things. Hmm.
We just got back from a weekend in Maine which was swell but chilly and far too short. We plan to go up more this summer. In fact, it seems like suddenly all of our weekends are practically filled with day trips to Maine and parental visits--which is great, no complaints, except that by the end of the summer I am sure we will all be quite exhausted. We also don't know what's up with Thanksgiving... I kind of want to go back to MD, but my folks don't really do anything for Thanksgiving and we've already spent lots of money on various other plane tickets. So we'll see what happens.
Jamie seems like she is having an amazing, life-alteringly brilliant time in Kenya. I miss her but I'm glad she's getting to have this fantastic experience. I hope everything is okay when she comes back-- I hear it can be hard to adjust after studying abroad, especially in such a different culture. I imagine the US's generally somewhat wealthy, ego-centric, and materialistic attitudes will be an uncomfortable shock.
Also I've been reading alot and feel the writing bug coming on, however with my wrist being the way it is, I have been somewhat inhibited. I have been thinking alot though, about the direction some of my stories will take. We'll see what comes of it.
