Thanksgiving
Here's the menu line-up this year - we will be having 14 people. My cousin is bringing his girlfriend from Germany, and this will be her first Thanksgiving.
Here's what I'm making -
21 pound turkey (sheesh) - brined in garlic are aromatic herbs
whole wheat stuffing
gravy
mashed red potatoes
sweet potatoes w/ marshmallows (my favorite)
corn pudding
green bean casserole (made by granny)
cheesy broccoli casserole
sister schubert rolls (i'd make my own, but these are just too good)
fresh cranberry sauce
applesauce
chocolate pudding peanut butter pie
pecan pie
pumpkin custard pie
it's a little heavy on the starches, but so what, it's thanksgiving :)
