So i know you'll see this and your first reaction will be, a survey? what the hell. where are all the beautiful stories and profound realizations? well i promise they exist. and i can assure you they are recorded in exquisite detail on my mind. and for the skeptical of you--in scrawling black ink on the pages of my journal. i just havent had enough to time to transfer them all to this particular place. i'll sit with you for hours with coffee or wine. at dinner or a late night diner. and tell you everything you want know. trust that this experience is everything they promised it would be. those pompous assholes at kalamazoo college promised something true for once. for now though kids

it would be difficult to say i've had a better one.

the last four weeks. living on an organic farm. building earthen houses. laying in a hammock. waking up to the mountains. falling asleep to the stars and the sound of guitar.

i miss you all. and for all of you who send me letters and packages. i'd like you to know that every single person on the program came up to me today because i had about 8 packages sitting at our ngo. they were all jealous. and i played christmas music while ripping open everyone. and happily rehashing what absolutely incredible friends i have.
