Hi Lynn :>

The light of God, which is a metaphor for His command, enters creation in a world we call Lahut where "things" have their origin but are completely merged in their Lord. Next the light resolves into the divine qualities by which Allah makes Himself known to His creatures: ar-Rahman, the one who is love, grace and compassion; ar-Rahim, the one possessing singular mercy; al-Malik, the king; al-Quddus, the holy; as-Salam, the source of peace; al-Mu'min, the trustworthy and source of reliance; and so on for 99 qualities by which creation can know the essence of the Lord. Next the light resolves into the angelic powers regulating creation: the angels of life, death, growth, gravity, color, music, poetry, all that good stuff. The world of the angels, malak, powers, is "the other world" for many traditions. Finally the command manifests in the world of bodies of clay, where the unity announces Himself in countless manifestations of beings.

So you can know the command as the underlying vibration. In the denser worlds, the command manifests in multiplicity, until in the material world there is a great abundance apparent stuff.

I'll look for a passage in Sidi's books explaining this really well...

love,
Wesley
