[The Strangers came, the Remnants came and it seems all too long since they all left again. In truth the last attempt to shatter this prison left much to be desired and although Kadaj went some way in helping Sephiroth is still stuck. [ Kunsel wakes with a start, with no idea as to why as he sits up, running a gloved hand through his hair. When did he even fall asleep...? He can't remember, though the sudden onslaught of his hangover-headache gives him some idea of why he can't remember. Rubbing his eyes, he looks out the window, he can see that it's already well into the new day. How long was he--

Another jolt runs through Kunsel's body, but he's awake now and aware enough to sense that something is off. Both of his hands go to his head and he groans quietly, staggering to his feet. He stumbles out of Sion's house, not wanting to wake anyone as he tries to grasp what is going on. There's pressure, against his head and his eardrums, pressing in. Flashes of memory momentarily blot out his vision. What memory? Whose...? ]

["Stand up straight, SOLDIER" is heard like a distant ringing inside the head. flash of the training room on the 49th level of ShinRa HQ. flash the glint of a long katana blade.]

[Stirred memories give Sephiroth, all those miles away a clearer picture of who he has managed to string this time. But there is not enough information to give this identity he can feel a name. Though must be a SOLDIER type from that reaction]

"SOLDIER" [is definitely more of a voice-in-the-head now...though the tone of the voice is unclear whether it is a statement or a question..]

[ Kunsel chokes this out, eyes going wide as his hands instinctively go to his head at the images clarifying in his mind. ShinRa HQ--a place he has not glimpsed in five years which lies in ruins now, clear to him as the day he first enlisted. An unmistakable sword belonging to one they all used to revere. Used to. The memories take him back, though. Against his will, Kunsel is flooded with the feelings of then, of living beneath the shadow of the legend that was Sephiroth. ]

[There is no reply to Kunsel's utterance. A great weight pressing down on Kunsel's mind. The memories and associated feelings multiply fast and rapid. Soon all that is seen in the surroundings of the chosen puppet is Shinra HQ, looking so real, so malleable is this illusion. Even the smell of the polished floor can be sensed]

[In reality, the energy that these feelings creates is being sapped away. It's hunger is great and soon passes a physical threshold....]
