My 9-year-old cousin wrote this all by herself:
WHAT PASSOVER MEANS TO ME... ... ...
BY DANIEELLA SPECTOR (all mistakes and punctuation has been faithfully reproduced)
Every year I wait for Pesach soon to come. I love the smell of matzo and enjoy all the fun. With my family sitting 'round me and the light shone from the sun- there's none. We dare not eat after midnight and the aphicoman looking's run. We eat it after as desert to celebrate the Jews that lived long long ago as slaves and came to freedom which I hope you knew. It's nice to talk and chat and play with my whole family throughout the day. We love to sing our Pesach songs and read the Haggadah. To me it's such a comfort to know my family's here to celebrate this lovely night right in my house so near!!!! I will thank you all for coming and hope you like the new food that you might try on this night here, say you might say something who knew I liked this food? So no without any further ado let us get this Seder through!
How awesome is that? She's 9 and already her grammar, spelling, punctuation, content and rhyme scheme are better than that of most of the college-age kids I've tutored! Oh, and she's abso-fucking-lutely adorable!
