After Amecon
WoW! What a blast! Very tired through. Amecon review below cut.

Friday
The start of my Amecon adventure. Stayed up all night to finish costumes. Had armour problems so Cain's armour had to be left behind. Arrived at event after no sleep and two hours of train journey. Met up with my roomie for the event, Lex. Then became Abel Nightroad for the evening. Watched the J-Rock band GOTHIKA perform. Excellent music. They reminded me of my cyber goth days in the 80's. Very Gary Numan. In fact they did a cover of a song I love.
Saturday
The main cosplay day. Got up really early to transform into Sephiroth. Lex became Katerina in RKO disguise from Trinity Blood. We heard over to the event to take part in the competition. There where some outanding costumes. Most of which put mine to shame. Loved the Soulcalibur costumes and the Samurai warriors costumes. Fat Kraken as Kimari from FFX has to be my favourite of the weekend. After a breack for lunch it was on to a silly session of Yaoi piccies with Bloo as Cloud. Bar a camera mishap we managed some great shots. Shame it was raining otherwise we would of chosen another location. It was then Masequade time. I've never done a masequade quite like this before. Sprend over three rooms with a catwalk for the cosplayers to pose and pimp they're outfits. There where slight mishaps with my name and character on screen and I faced the wrong way at one point. Still awesome event that gave everyone a chance to see all the fab costumes. Fantastic FFX group by the way. They had the best costumes. Then it was on to the J-pop disco. Yay! for fab dancing.
Sunday
The chance to do normal con stuff. I visted the dealers room and with meager funds I managed to get more Trinity Blood manga and novel. Also a small Sephiroth pin to go on my jacket so he can go with me everywhere *sigh* I'm such a fangirl. Lol! Watched the Omake/Skits. Quite funny. Some really entertaining stuff and some that didn't make much sense. Still not bad entertaining. Although a little annoyed at how the seating was set up. After queueing for well over an hour we ended up at the back. How is this logical?!? Then on to the cosplay ball. Cain Nightroad appeared for this one minus the sholder armour. I enjoyed doing some ballroom dancing. Got to dance with some very lovely ladies (one of whom was very beautiful but sadly I think shes straight * sigh*). Before enjoying dancing to some cl;assic cheese with newfound friends.
Great to finally put faces to the names. Fab to meet you all.
