So, I'm working on a Standard (type 2) deck at the moment so I can get into Friday Night Magic around here in town at the local gaming store, but I'm still looking for a handful of stuff.
Brian, is there any chance that you've got any Jund Charms or Savage Lands from Shards of Alara that you could stand to part with? I'm aiming at building something like "The Jund Deck" using just M10 and Alara block stuff.
Anyway, this is what I'm thinking of putting together, since I've managed to track down a bunch of it already.
Shafe's Jund Deck
Creatures:
4x Putrid Leech
4x Bloodbraid Elf
4x Anathemancer
1x Broodmate Dragon
2x Sprouting Thrinax
1x Viscera Dragger (Will be replaced if I can get another Broodmate Dragon)
Spells:
2x Bituminous Blast
4x Blightning
2x Sign in Blood
3x Jund Charm
4x Lightning Bolt
2x Skeletonize (Will be replaced with better forms of removal at some point)
Other Permanents:
1x Necrogenesis
1x Pithing Needle
Lands:
3x Terramorphic Expanse
3x Jund Panorama
4x Savage Lands
1x Rootbound Crag (Random self-indulgent pack rare :) )
4x Mountain
5x Swamp
5x Forrest
I've got pretty much all of the Shards stuff, and I expect to be able to pick up the elves, the leeches, the anathemancers and the bituminous blasts tomorrow at Friday night magic fairly easily. I think all that will be presently missing, after tomorrow, are a pair of Jund Charms and a couple Savage Lands. If anyone's got them and want to get rid of them, let me know, if you would.
The side board will come together after a while, I think. Death Marks, Doom Blade, etc. for specific removal choices, as well as a couple more pithing needles, if I can track them down.
