Well 2009 hasn't been so promising so far and we're only 2 weeks into it. Feels a lot longer for me actually. Just before Hogmanay I caught a cold, after new year it turned into a head cold, on the 2nd it developed into an inner ear infection which aslo caused an infected flareup of my eczema, and now one week of anti-biotics has simply reclassified it to an 'ear infection' but cleared my skin.
I find it somewhat amusing that I've had 3 different types of antibiotic in the last 6 weeks.
Whats not so amusing is I'm half deaf! I cant hear shit through my right ear, which makes conversations on the street interesting when you interrupt someone you didnt know was talking to you. Slightly more annoyed that I cant listen to music properly, or hear people / zombies sneak up on my right while playing games.
This time has been somewhat enlightening. I discovered I dont deal well with Cocodamol! I discovered the maximum parameters for re-encoding anime for my iPhone. I discovered a live action film, "Kitaro no Ge Ge Ge" taken from the Manga of the same name thats been running in weekly publications since the 1980's. And I also discovered that mum doesn't like it when I pass my cold on to her...
