Fall Schedule

Aug 13, 2009 09:21

Woo! So life has been a-changin' for me, but things are starting to settle a little bit. I still have some work to do on my new apartment, like getting a couch, TV, and decorations, but things are going well there. School starts in 11 days. I am sad that Karis must go back to Beloit, but I am excited to start my classes. Three A's this semester! No excuses.

Schedule:
Monday
Work: 8 - 5
Intermediate Japanese I: 6 - 8:20

Tuesday
Work: 8 - 5
Physical Geography: 6 - 9:20

Wednesday
Work: 8 - 5
Intermediate Japanese I: 6 - 8:20

Thursday
Work: 8 - 5
Physical Geography: 6 - 7:20
Geography Lab: 7:30 - Completion

Friday
Work: 8 - 2:30

Now I just need to figure out good blocks of time for homework and my online Global Anthropology course. The majority of the online class will likely be done on Fridays, though I can participate in discussion on the forum while at work or any other time, so I'm not too concerned about that. I also need to apply to the U at the beginning of the semester! I just bought my books...and as I typed this sentence I got a notice saying they're already available for pickup, so I think I will do that on my way to see Karis today! Why the fuck is my Geography "lab manual" $55? The teacher wrote the fucking thing and they're charging $55? Ah well, my loans cover it find but I just feel that is bullshit. Oh wow, yeah, I didn't get any used books. At least they'll all be shiny. And I still need the new Japanese book from Satoh-sensei, but I think he just takes a check for that in class since he writes and produces the book himself. Feeling good!

Best conversation with a customer I had yesterday:
Woman - "Hey, your driver was just here and he took both copies of my thing and didn't get a copy of his thing and I think I need something faxed."
Me - "...so what are you asking for?"
Woman - "Well I have a blue one."

People are awesome.
