R.I.P, Marian
This has affected me more than I thought it would.
I never knew her very well-- I saw her at a few events and bought a few books at the Buttery book sale, but I never went to the Buttery parties and never really had any one on one interaction with Old Marian. And yet... she's always been here. She was one of the main people in Carolingia and I've heard her name a million times, in connection with a million things. In some ways, she was just a symbol of the barony.
It's so weird now that that symbol is gone.
I wish I had had a chance to get to know her better.
