So, it's time to try digging our way out of Nemo's 2.5 feet of snow.. and of course, all my snow stuff in in New Hampshire. I manage to find a pair of snow pants I haven't worn since high school (they fit!) but not much else, so I ask my mom if I can borrow some boots (we're the same shoe size). She gives me a pair of warm, seemingly new black leather boots. They fit well, are comfortable... I never saw them before. After shoveling for a while, I note that they are very comfortable, and ask if they are hers, since I've never seen her wear them.
Her answer: "No. They were your grandmothers. She never got a chance to wear them. Guess they're yours now."
