And So The Race Begins
So the wheels have started turning with both departments I've applied for. I went to San Mateo on Monday, sat in on the dispatch center and generally met with the crew there, as well as had an interview with the head of the dispatch center. It seemed to go well, but something tells me I'd prefer to work at San Bruno. We'll see. Next on the list is a meeting with my background investigator tomorrow in San Mateo, which made me think San Bruno was going to be slower, but lo and behold I get a call from them setting up my background interview with them for next Tuesday. So it's going to be a race to see which department finishes first...and hopefully, it's San Bruno, if not, San Mateo will still pay well and I'll take the job regardless. Anyway, back to being bored at work.
