Chrysler

On my way to work I nudged the side of the entrance to the parking lot and when I got out the rear driver side tire was hissing. Air was leaking out the side of the nozzle where the rim meets the rubber. I've nudged curbs before and this has never happened.

I can't focus today. It's probably not a big deal, if I need a new tire I need a new tire. But I've got a lot to do for the move this weekend. So I'll have to put on the spare and drive it home. How long can you leave a car sitting on a spare? I probably won't have time to get the tire looked at until tomorrow.

What really gets me is how often something like this has happened. I had to get all four tires replaced last year. They cost around $180 each. Believe me, I was flabbergasted when I heard the price. My parents bought a PT Cruiser several years ago and decided they didn't want it, but since it'd depreciated in value so much, rather than sell it off they handed it down to me. It's a great mid-life crisis car. What they didn't tell me was the tires are complete pieces of shit and cost a small fortune.

I don't drive it much. To work and back, and around town. That's about it. After replacing the tires, two days later one went flat on its own, so they gave me another. Then last winter the rear passenger tire blew out on the highway and it wasn't under warranty. Now this one's dying. This car is such a POS it's no wonder Chrysler's where it is right now.

Urggghhh! May has been such a freaking expensive month. I really don't need this right now.
