I'm so glad I didn't see Twilight alone. I'll grant that it wasn't terrible, but wow. Poor Kristen Stewart. She appears capable of exactly two facial expressions:
1.) Pensive/Angry
2.) Sexually aroused
Sadly in her case, those are fairly close together, expression-wise. The end result being that for a great portion of the film, I was wondering whether I should have been watching in mixed company.
Honestly, it wasn't that bad, but that was the running joke between Stacy and me in the theater. Yes, we spoke in the theater. Yes, I know I'm going to that very special hell. But there were very few other people there, and they were talking too and we were being quiet, dangit.
I believe we also decided that a half-vampire would shine not like diamonds, but cubic zirconia.
... Now I feel silly.
