it's totally a monday

I knew it was a Monday when I woke up, sure. But do Mondays have to be so...so Mondayish? I mean, it's a cliche--everything is not really supposed to go wrong on Monday! And why my life thinks it's supposed to is a mystery I am sure I will never solve.

And if this program doesn't stop screwing around I will not snap, per se, but I will finally ( Read more... )

They are each given a small module of a much, much, much larger program, and I get the distinct impression they aren't really aware that there is a larger program. They also really do not understand who they are writing for.

So the program is really like The Cube?

I think maybe this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cube_Movie. I don't know if the Wikipedia article mentions it, and I haven't seen it, but my impression is that the Cube was built in parts by several people who didn't know what the final construction would be.

Yeah, I'm the same. I actually heard about it when it first came out, back when I was in high school - years and years before I gave a damn about David Hewlett or Stargate anything. I wanted to see it then, too, but was afraid I'd get too freaked out. That still holds true, though I've heard it's fantastic.

I have yet to gird myself for Clockwork Orange. I mean, I get I should, or should have. But I know it will freaking haunt me when I'm about to fall asleep.

It's an awesome film. And for once it's something with DH that I watched and liked even before SGA, since I watched it in a movie theater when it first came out. But yeah, it is a scary premise.

It was a great movie: I saw it at the time and I was very impressed... I belive it won the top award at the Avoriaz festival! And really anyone who has seen The Matrix should totally be able to deal with this, IMHO.
