It's thirty minutes into the opening hour and the fifth time Jongdae looks over the counter at the watch. On the ocassions Yixing comes late he usually tells, but it's been almost an hour and he has not replied to Jongdae's text messages. Several customers later the clock's striking one, Jongdae is just about to pull out his key when the door bell chimes and skips in someone. More precisely it's a young man wrapped in scandalous orange-green winter coat with a harmless half-smile and bright eyes his attire suddenly doesn't look that obnoxious anymore. Jongdae swoons in his Chaise a Bureau.

"Welcome!" he greets, nevermind that he usually doesn't, not that the guy's going to know - his smile is turning open and from the three metre distance Jongdae can see the slight bunny teeth peeking out. He's pacing closer. Somewhere in the background Heart Skips a Beat starts playing. "How can I help you?"

"Ah, actually," peeps him, the timbre in his voice aiming straight for Jongdae's chest, "I'm here to replace Yixing. He's sick right now, can't even get up. He insisted on going anyway but I dragged him to the hospital, so, I hope you're fine with me."

Definitely more than fine, Jongdae wants to say, but he is a man who knows what's better to keep for himself. Like the surprising fact that he's glad for Yixing's sickness, for example. So he remarks inwardly and outwardly shakes his head, putting on his business smile. "Sure."

And as if the prior attacks weren't enough Yixing's replacement decides it's best to break out a grin. " Thank you. I'm Luhan, by the way, Yixing's friend."

"Kim Jongdae. You can call me Jongdae."

As they go in for a handshake Jongdae can't resist giving a tight squeeze. It's a nagging feeling in the back of his mind that this is going to be the beginning of a rather hard crush.

omg i totally thought i'd commented on this already but i hadn't ;~~~; i am the worst. this is really cute- bunny teeth WEHHH. and of course jongdae is happy yixing's sick. i hope you continue this but if not this is really sweet and i am thinking of all kind of cute scenarios in my head.
