Yuri groans, her eyes heavy and her feet loud as she takes a step into the bedroom. Sooyoung is already asleep, she would have guessed that by now - Sooyoung works at home most of the time, spending her breaks working out and eating. Yuri is the one that actually gets out to pay the bills, her work an hour away.

She feels so tired that she just shimmies out of her jeans and slips in the covers beside Sooyoung. It's warm and beautiful and Yuri snuggles up against Sooyoung, adoring the warmth that radiates off of her. Sooyoung groans a bit at the coolness of her skin, but eventually opens her arms and envelops her into a hug, tight as possible.

"How was your day?" Sooyoung mumbles into Yuri's hair, her nose pressed up against Yuri's crown so that she can smell Yuri's strawberry shampoo mixed with the air of shops and sellers that she probably ran to for dinner that night.

Yuri sighs, "Terrible. Let's not talk about it." Sooyoung chuckles and Yuri rolls her eyes, protected by her eyelids. "You're so mean," Yuri mumbles.

Sooyoung kisses her forehead, running her hands down Yuri's back to calm her. "I'm sorry unnie," Sooyoung apologizes, her soft lips moving against Yuri's forehead and her breath smelling like ramen. Yuri is tempted to slap her - they have chicken in the fridge, she could have cooked that instead of ramen - but her arms are too sore to move, and the hug is so warm.

"C'mon," Sooyoung mumbles, "Let's get enough sleep tonight."
