“You know that she’s our baby, right?” Zinni (is that her real name?) asks, her distinct hairstyle sticking out in Baekho’s eyes. She looks menacing with her eye makeup and her dark lipstick. Baekho remembers that Zinni is the eldest of the group, and he can see her maturity in her actions, from when she had captured him backstage to right now, sitting in one of Big Hit’s lounge rooms.

Jiyeon (the leader and the one that also helped in the kidnapping procedure) speaks up next. “She is a very young and fragile girl. I bet she hasn’t even had her first kiss yet!”

Some of the other girls agree. They all look pretty scary, Baekho thinks, watching them watch him. They have all squeezed in one beige couch, Jiyeon on one side and Trinity on the other side, whilst Dahee and Zinni stare at him from the middle. Baekho snuggles up to a black arm chair across from them.

Baekho swallows, bringing the most polite smile to his face before he responds. “I’m really not into that stuff, I promise. Miso is just a really nice girl and she’s had my attention from the start,” he answers as honest as he possibly can. He even graces them with one of his eye smiles.

Dahee, the one with brown hair and a dark tan as Baekho remembers (closest in age to Miso, so they’re probably close, Baekho thinks) scoffs. “If you’re not into that stuff, what are you into? The kinky stuff?”

Baekho laughs. They don’t seem to be joking, though. He backs off.

“No, it’s not like that at all! As I said before, Miso and I just want to take it slow, and eventually find out what will happen from then on. I promise that I won’t ‘ruin’ her or anything. She’s actually the one that asked for a relationship.” Baekho reddens.

“Don’t blame her!” Zinni screams and Trinity pats her thigh, calming her down with a few shushes. Baekho quickly realizes who out of the four he likes the most. Zinni sits back down, her chest huffing and her eyes filled with a bunch of hate.

“She’s just mad because she wanted Miso to date Jo Kwon-sshi,” Trinity explains calmly, “I’m sure that you and Miso will be a gorgeous couple. I assure you that we’re only like this because we love her so much. She really is like a younger sister, a baby, to all of us.” Baekho smiles, feeling ten times more relieved.

“Yeah,” the rest of the girls agree.

Baekho bites on his bottom lip. “I’m sorry. I hope to be able to live up to your expectations, GLAM-sshi.”

Jiyeon smiles, “But she is really a fragile girl. She can cry easily, like a little child. You can’t beat her down, too. If you do, she may hate you for the rest of the night. She’s also a bit cautious towards males, being around us for so long. See, we’re pretty confident you’re her first boyfriend.” Dahee and Jiyeon giggle.

“She’s a bit clumsy, too,” Zinni pipes up, “And she isn’t the best with technology. Best do the cooking, too, if you want something more than uncooked ramen every night. She hates it when people pay for her, too, being the dongsaeng and all, that’s hard.”

Baekho really wishes he had had a pen and paper right now.

Dahee laughs, “But she’s a great person. I guess you already know that, though, Baekho-sshi.”

And Baekho does know this. He remembers seeing her bright face weaving out through hallways when they were on the brink of debuting, wondering from what group she was in exactly. He remembers hearing the hype of ‘GLAM’, and trying his best to find out her name. He remembers gaping when the Men’s Health photo-shoot came out, surprised that the same giggly girl was the one staring into his eyes. He purchased the magazine when it came out.

They grew closer through text messages filled with emoticons, and when he finished promoting ‘Action’, she asked him out. He remembers NU’EST’s reaction-Minhyun thumbed him up, JR wished him good luck, Ren pranced about and eventually asked for her number, and Aron shrugged, off texting some friends. He hadn’t expected her girlfriends to swoop in and put their two (or eight?) cents in.

Stupid of him not to, of course. Girl groups were always tightly knit.

“You guys do look pretty cute together, though,” Jiyeon admits.

Baekho blushes, “Thank you, GLAM-sshi.”

“Nah, GLAM-noonas,” Zinni corrects, “Just don’t break her heart or we’ll break your leg.” She doesn’t seem to be joking.

Baekho bows, and rushes off to catch a van to bring him back home.

Zinni lies back against the couch. “Still prefer Kwon.”

Dahee hits her arm.
